Connect the red lead to one terminal and the black lead to the other terminal of the push button switch, then turn ON the push button switch.

If the ohmmeter displays 1 or less, it means the push button switch is fully ON.

Step 4:

Set the push button switch to the OFF position.

If the display shows ‘OL’ or a high frequency, it indicates that the push button switch is completely OFF.
